                        $40,000.00 and up.......................... $315.00 plus $1.00 per thousand

Upon failure to obtain a permit before work on a building has been started, expect in emergency cases, the total fees shall be double the fees charged.  On the second offense, total fee shall be tripled; third offence - fees shall be quadrupled.  Any other occasions may, in addition, bring about citations.

          *Note 1 - A permit shall be in effect for a 24 month period.  Work that is not shown on the
            plans is not included in the permit.

          *Note 2 - An additional fee for plan review may be assessed at the time of application for
            renewal of permit.

          *Note 3 - Farm buildings are exempt from inspections.

     Building permits for one-family and two-family new homes, effective 11/29/2000, consists of
     all permits for structure, HVAC, plumbing, electric, erosion, energy, and eleven inspections.

A $1,000 construction deposit fee may be assessed for construction over $5,000.00.
