Building Permits & Inspection Fees

To receive a building permit in the Town of Chase you must first submit the following:
  1. Sanitary Permit
  2. Land Use Permit. Contact Oconto County Zoning at 920-834-6827.
  3. Two sets of house plans.
  4. Plot plan (showing setbacks) or CSM ( Certified Survey Map ).
  5. Heat Calculation.
  6. Erosion Control sheet. (Use copy of Plot plan and show streams, roads, etc. on the land and show dirt pile location that may affect such. Show erosion control devices if used).
  7. Cross section of building.
  8. Completed Wisconsin UDC permit application.
  9. Completed driveway permit application.

Inspection schedule:  (CALL 822-4312 )

  1. Footing, foundation, tar, tile, stone, and electrical service installation.  (Before backfilling)
  2. GROUND PLUMBING.  (Basement floor and garage at same time.)
  3. Rough in:  (Before insulation and all at the same time)  (Shingles must be on)
    1. BUILDING.
    2. HEATING.
    3. PLUMBING
    4. ELECTRICAL.
  4. INSULATION.  (Before sheet-rocking)
  5. FINAL INSPECTION.  (Before occupancy)

(Occupancy without permission is a $100/day fine and an open house without a final inspection is a $100/occurrence fine.)
