How is the Park Property being funded?

Since this a unique historical park, special plans are being designed for the property that would go way above the standard costs to design, develop, and maintain a standard town park.  Therefore, the town will attempt to raise all the money needed to fund the special features of this park, such as stone walking paths, a fieldstone bridge over the bordering creek, stone patio picnic areas, stone landscaping, and a unique agricultural playground.

If the town cannot raise the funds needed for these special features, then the money will be taken out of the town Park Fund account (if available).

If the town does not have enough money in the Park Fund, they will not develop these features until they do have enough funds.

All future maintenance expenses will also be paid from the Park Fund account, which again is funded by Impact Fees charged to new home builders in Chase, and proceeds from local events.

THE TOWN OF CHASE HAS NO INTENTION OF EVER BUDGETING THESE PARK EXPENSES ON THE TOWN TAX ROLL.  If there is no money in the Park Fund, then we will stop developing the park until there is money available again.
