h Tax Collection Dates & Times g

The easiest way to pay your taxes is by mail, however if you prefer paying in person, the following dates and times have been set up at the Town Hall to assist you:

DROP BOX  A Drop Box is located INSIDE the town hall and is available only during the scheduled collection dates and times above.  No need to wait in line, just drop your payment through the slot by the treasurer’s window and a receipt will be mailed to you once it is processed.

DOG LICENSES  Dog licenses can be issued at the same time you pay your taxes.  Please bring your dog license form that was enclosed with your tax bill and make sure it is filled out so that you do not hold up the line.  MAKE SURE YOUR DOGS LAST RABIES SHOT IS RECORDED OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET YOUR LICENSE.

MAKE ALL CHECKS PAYABLE TO " TOWN OF CHASE TREASURER "

ESCROW CHECKS: If your check is made out to both you "AND" the Treasurer, make sure to sign the back.

REFUNDS  Sorry, the treasurer can not give tax overpayment refunds on the spot.  Please allow at least 2 - 3 weeks to receive your refund check.
